back in London & an album
Hello friends,
Yesterday evening my big green pickup truck calmly cruised from the green fields, and narrow lanes of South Wales, onto the M1, and down through the bustling city streets to its new home. It’s way out of its element. But it stands strong; still covered in the stinking muck of the provincial lands.
I have fully finished my build and moved from Wales, back down to London… onto a sinking canal boat…
(all boats are sinking, and all humans are dying. For both, its just a question of how quickly…) (but my boat is sinking rather quickly…)
I’ll be in Walthamstow for the next couple months building a new sauna facility for The Community Sauna Baths CIC. And attempting to slow the sinking of my boat.
In other news, me and my band, The Sportsman, have released our first full album. It was recorded in Fron Goch, a remote farm house in the hills of North Wales. The album is fully improvised, basically one take, broken up into songs that run for around 10 minutes.
Why bend over backwards to appease - and thereby perpetuate - the attention starved youth! Sit down and listen all the way through kid! Then you can have your phone back, to scroll your dastardly tik toks!
We have a gig coming up on the Friday 30th of May at the Stags Head Hoxton, as part of Far East Festival. Tickets here: https://www.seetickets.com/event/far-east-festival/multiple-venues-london/3378622?src=thesportsman
and this is the band instagram, if you like https://www.instagram.com/thesportsmanmusic/
If you’re in London, lets hang!
lots of love,
Sebastian
